Lemon Pepper Buffalo Wings

Oven Baked Party wings that are as crispy as deep fried! Top with your favorite sauce.. mine is Lemon Pepper Buffalo.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 Cup frank's red hot
  • 1/4 Cup Butter (Melted)
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Pepper
  • 2 Lbs Chicken Wings

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250f
  • Combine Baking Powder and Salt Then Sprinkle over Chicken Wings
  • * for even more crisp, put wings in refrigerator overnight to help pull the moisture out of the skin
  • Put Wings on a Rack on top of a baking sheet 
  • Cook wings @ 250f for 30 minutes then turn up to 450f for another 35-40 minutes until desired crispy level has been achieved.
  • Remove from Oven While hot Toss wings in butter then immediately toss with Lemon Pepper Toss with Franks Red Hot (or whatever Sauce you like best)

  1. Any sauce will work 🙂 For my little one I would use just a small dab of buffalo sauce with some butter so she doesn’t feel left out 🙂

  2. I’m making these for my family (ie kiddos too) and wonder if they will work without the hot sauce? Maybe add more butter to coat?
